✨ Client Spotlight! ✨ What a day! Our friends at Saskatoon Co-op held an employee appreciation carnival and we pulled out all the stops for this unique event! It was a wonderful day in the Bessborough gardens with friends and family, all enjoying the carnival fun. 🎡 There was no shortage of entertainment, featuring everything from stilt walkers, unicyclists, facepainters, hula hoopers, carnival games, a DJ and so much more! Comedian Kelly Taylor had the whole group laughing, it was a great day to kick back and enjoy for the Co-Op team! The Spark team stepped up to help with entertainment management, performance & activity management, event logistics, and administrative and financial duties!

✨ Client Spotlight! ✨ Canada’s Great Kitchen Party is a social enterprise dedicated to “Building a Better Canada” through the elevation and celebration of Canadian excellence through food, sport, and music. Staged in nine cities across the country, each event is a regional culinary competition which qualifies the winning chefs to move on to compete at the Canadian Culinary Championship in Ottawa. 🥘🥩🍷 The six Chefs who competed for Saskatoon’s 2022 Kitchen Party regional competition were: Anthony McCarthy, @stokedkitchenandbar, Karl Cantrelle Jr., @southernrootsdalmenysk, Scott Dicks, @odla.saskatoon, Steve Squier, @picaroyxe, Taszia Thakur, @caloriesrestaurant, and Tracy Leonhardt, Leopolds Tavern. Guests had the opportunity to sample delicious food from each chef, and it was Chef Squire who was crowned the Saskatoon champion! 🥇 DYK: To date, over 17 million dollars has been raised by Canada’s Great Kitchen Party for local and national charities! Spark stepped in to help with venue & event logistics, committee management, volunteer coordination, administrative & financial duties, food & beverage management + more!

Guitar Picks & Hockey Sticks Fantasy Camp is back! Taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, teams will be treated to the full pro-hockey experience all weekend long! ✨ Client Spotlight! ✨ Spark partnered with BHP to coordinate a double event to celebrate the opening of their highly anticipated Jansen Mine. The Jansen Project, located in Saskatchewan is planned to be the largest potash producing mine in the world, providing a rich source of potassium to keep soils fertile and maximize food production. #DYK The Jansen mine is expected to produce about 4.35 million tonnes of potash per year, with the potential for further expansions? Pretty impressive! Spark’s role included event planning, budget creation, event logistics, website development, and marketing & communications support including graphic design!
